Rescue Gorillas Foundation

About Us

When we found out that all four subspecies are (critically) endangered we immediately realized that a material change on a global basis is very much needed.

The problems do not only occur in Africa, in their natural habitat, we all make an impact to their well-being. We can make a direct positive impact by changing our behavior, consumer preferences and by just being more conscious.

We are working hard on creating consciousness and educating online and offline. Additionally, to that we are addressing the direct endangerment factors with a hands-on mentality. We are actively working on innovative ways to mitigate the current obstacles that gorillas are facing.

It is not too late yet; you can collaborate in many possible ways and be part of an important change.

Our Vision

Work together with individuals, corporations, and other foundations to create a happy, free life for the gorillas and eliminate their appearance from the endangered list. We strive to become important protagonists of rescue and conservation of gorillas.

Our Mission

The plan is to create a safe environment where gorillas can be at peace and free. We want to save the gorillas through awareness and education, mitigating direct and indirect threats that worsen and endanger the lives of gorillas.

Our Goals

The objective is to reduce deforestation of their natural habitat, caused by palm oil plantations, mining, fossil fuels and human migration into their space. Our goal is that all gorillas can once again live free of human-caused dangers.

Core Values

We are driven by sustainability, innovation, education, integrity, globalization and hard work.
